Diplomáticos is a relatively recent Habanos brand, established in the 1960s. All its cigars are medium to full in flavour and are made using tobacco leaves from the famous Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba. Although the brand has been selected on several occasions for Regional Edition releases, for an extended period, Diplomáticos No. 2 has been the only vitola in the regular portfolio. Cancilleres therefore represents the first addition to the brand’s permanent portfolio in many years.

The size known as Centrofinos in Cuban factories falls within what is commonly referred to as a Robusto vitola.

Presented in the traditional 25 dressed box, Cancilleres takes its name from the highest diplomatic rank, “Canciller”. It is a totally handmade, long-filler cigar that offers an enjoyable smoking time of approximately 40–45 minutes.
