Collection: H Upmann
Registered in Havana by the Upmann banking brothers, Herman and August, this brand was founded in 1844. In the 1920s the company was failing and subsequently bailed out by a British firm, J. Frankau and Co, who ran the factory until the mid-1930s, when it was sold to the newly founded Mendez, Garcia y Cia (Company).
H Upmann cigars have, in our opinion, always had a full-bodied, rich and earthy flavour - this characteristic remains today. This direct and straightforward character constitutes the brands attraction, and has attained long-term loyalty from experienced smokers who enjoy the traditional taste of a Havana.
